白にも黒にもなれなかった僕は

In the wandering, unerasable memories,
someone’s ordinary everyday life
is still unbearably painful to me,
so I closed off my narrow field of view.

The words that unraveled, the emotions that spilled,
I hid them all and locked them away.
Before I knew it, even I
couldn’t open that door anymore—so just laugh.

I took the hand of the gray demon.
I can’t love you, and so,
as punishment, the colors
vanished from this world.

Without ever knowing the emotions someone sang about,

From the beginning, it was impossible,
and only the dry sky drifted aimlessly.

searching for a frame,
spinning around in circles,
feeling like I’m going to throw up.

Stab, tear it apart,
scream like noise.

that would’ve been good, right?

I was killed by the gray demon.

this fading voice of mine
will never reach you.
