sammy. /REVERSIESは、"ワンマンDIYオルタナロックバンド(?)"というスタイルを掲げ、グランジ・オルタナティブロックを基盤に、パンク、エモ、ロックンロールなどの洋楽を根底のルーツに持ちながら、J-RockやVOCALOIDなど多彩なジャンルにもリスペクトを持つ独自の音楽を展開する。
双極性障害と向き合いながらも、2024年に本格的な音楽活動を開始した。
彼は他にもノンバイナリー／アセクシャルなどを公言し、LGBTQA+のコミュニティーなど、マイノリティーや心の痛みを抱える誰かにに寄り添い、ともに叫び、痛みを共有するようなメッセージを込めた曲が多く存在する。時には英語詞も交えながら、国内外のオーディエンスへ届くよう、音楽を作り続けている。

sammy. /REVERSIES presents a unique style as a “one-person DIY alternative rock band (?)” rooted in grunge and alternative rock. While heavily influenced by Western music genres like punk, emo, and Rock’n'roll, the music also pays respect to diverse styles such as J-Rock and VOCALOID.
Despite living with bipolar disorder, he officially launched his music career in 2024.
He is open about being non-binary and asexual, and many of his songs carry messages that resonate with the LGBTQA+ community, minorities, and those experiencing emotional pain. These tracks often scream out in solidarity, sharing the listener’s pain. By incorporating both Japanese and English lyrics, "sammy. /REVERSIES" creates music that reaches audiences both in Japan and abroad.
